Poseidonia Beach opened in 1979 on the golden sands of a Blue Flag beach in Limassol Bay, and remains family-owned. Every room, bar and restaurant carries a name from Poseidon's story: the Aegean Coffee Shop, the Poseidon Restaurant, the Neptune Ballroom, Odyssea, Trident, Triton, Deity Spa and Wanax.
One hundred and thirty-eight rooms and suites, three restaurants, three bars, two pools, a spa on the beach level and four function rooms, wrapped in landscaped gardens with the Mediterranean at the end of them.

Nothing on the two-page menu is conventional. Mediterranean small plates, signature cocktails and live music several evenings a week and on Sunday afternoons, served in an outdoor seaside sanctuary a few metres from the water.
