Two independent certifications sit behind this page, and both are audited rather than self-declared: Green Key for how the building is run, and the Blue Flag for the beach in front of it.
A hotel that has stood on the same stretch of coast since 1979 has an obvious interest in that coast staying worth visiting. What follows is what we actually do, not a statement of intent.

Awarded on water quality, safety, environmental management and environmental education. Renewed annually.

Monitored consumption, efficient fittings, and a linen and towel reuse programme guests opt into.
Energy
Efficient lighting and climate control, with consumption tracked across the building.
Waste
Separation and recycling throughout, with single-use plastic reduced across the outlets.
Local sourcing
Cypriot produce on the breakfast buffet and across the restaurants wherever the season allows.
